7D Movies

Jul 16, 2006

I was stepping out onto the porch and the wood was wet from rain. It was shiney and darkish from the reflection of the clouds. It took me a moment to realize that I was dreaming, but it had not rained and I knew that it looking a bit 'wetter' than rain.

When I stepped onto it, I went through, sort of fell through, but there was no gravity feeling in the fall.

But I landed in this place which was in some trees, maybe a valley, because the daylight was filtered through leaves, and had that dark green coolness.

There was a building, and when I went in, there were two rooms. It was dark daylight, the kind that would be white, not yellowish. There was something painted on one wall, like a mural. The floors were that very smooth cement, the kind that feels soft almost, to run my hand over? But I was feeling the smooth coolness on my feet when I walked on it.
I knew there were two rooms, but I was seeing both at once. It felt like a theatre hall.

Then there was a girl, and she was skating over this floor. She was alone there, and seemed to be very involved in it, not noticing me.

Then there was this line of other female skaters coming in the doorway, it was some sort of competition or try-out for something. There was some guy there to judge, he was going to pick one for something.
He was to the left in the one room, and a lady was on the right of me in the next room by the door to go out, but I was seeing both rooms.

The first girl was somehow not in the same place as the rest, she was, I could see her, but no one else could at first. None of them saw me, or they just ignored me. But then after a bit the lady went and pointed out the first girl to the guy.

One girl lost a bracelet, it fell off, and I picked it up and gave it to her. She saw me for that moment. It was a chain with a stone charm hanging off of it.

Then I was out again in this tree valley like place, and the building was the same, but everything inside was not the same. There was something I noticed, or saw, about long and short______, and it had to do with things being the same and different. But I cannot recall, something like molecules or cells, but an abstract view of them.

The guy was selling tickets to go in, and there was a line of people, but they were mingled people.

I saw D and two of his friends were there, and they were very excited about whatever this was. The friends of his do not live here, and they were his friends from another time, childhood and highschool, but I do know them.

There was a girl, and she was acting as if she was with me, which I found odd. But I asked one of D's friends what was happening. He told me that there was a 7D movie, the first one to ever be made.

I was standing, listening to them talk with each other about this amazing 7D movie. And then they were going in, so I snuck in between the other people.

Inside, it was one room this time, but the floor was the same. There were seats set up on bleacher like platforms, not much of an incline. D and his friends were in the front seats, so I went and sat there on the floor.

The movie started, and it looked black and white, or greyscale...and it was all lines and scattered, like an interrupted signal. Then I realized that they had glasses, and I was saying, this is not 7D, someone would not need glasses to see 7D...and I was trying to tell them that seeing 7D was like surround sound in image and movement...it could not be seen with their eyes this way, that 7D does not come off of a 2D screen.

I was seeing on the screen, other things that could be seen without the glasses, but it was just scattered images of what they were seeing with the glasses. I was just____, that they were so believing that this was 7D.

But then I knew that the whole thing was that I was not really there in this place, but I was there, and it had to do with the long and short____, not one or the other, but both. And that it had to do with the rain on the porch.
